In opdracht van de Design Academy Eindhoven portretteerde ik acht studenten die vanwege corona genoodzaakt zijn om thuis of in hun studio af te moeten studeren. Ilka van Steen nam de interviews af.
Een fragment uit het interview met Rachel Morón: “These times have forced me to question the path I’m on. Before, I used to joke how I lived more on the train than at home. I didn’t realise that this constant busy-ness separated me from my communities. I kept thinking: what is the point of being in the art world, when there are more urgent things at hand? It’s still something that I’m struggling with, and who knows, maybe I will leave this bubble soon — but for now my way of contributing is to philosophise the positive collective potential of templates.”
